ITL is continually striving to improve the situation of our suppliers, while maintaining impeccable quality control and value proposition. Our source suppliers in Asia, Europe and North America are regularly reviewed to ensure the highest standards are met. Our source suppliers in Africa include farmers, value adding producers and logistics providers.

To ensure that our farmers get the best returns from their limited land and labour, we have been running model farms and providing quality and productivity training for our suppliers. Training includes world-standard best practice pre and post harvest techniques so that both farmers and end-users are better off. Some of these training initiatives have resulted in near doubling of product output, at a higher quality, at the farm gate for some of our key suppliers.

ITL's objective in investing in farmers and sustainability is threefold :
